So ... back to our regularly scheduled selvages and Halloween quilting ... :-) ... I made this about a month ago while I was on my summer blogging break. It is made of Halloween fabric scraps. It only took about three hours to make including quilting, binding and sewing on the little spider buttons.
It is 16 inches square. It's my own design. I made a quick little paper pattern up to cut the fabrics to all the right sizes. It isn't pieced. I used a bit of glue stick to help hold the selvages in place until everything was sewn down. There are no raw edges. Everything is finished.
I really like the little spider buttons. It's the first time I've used buttons as an embellishment and I think they really add to this little piece.
Hope you have a great week!
