When I started sewing this I fully intended to make a little pillow. I had the selvage heart square and the little mini selvage squares left over from my Love-Serendipity-Family Selvage Quilt from two years ago, so I thought it would be a quick way to make a seasonal pillow ...
... but then after I had the quilting done, I actually thought it turned out nice enough to hang on the wall. Because let's be honest here, if it was a pillow it would spend a lot of time getting thrown around, jumped on, or on the floor (No, not my husband, :-) the kids ) so I thought it was safer and would be better appreciated on the wall.
It is 24 inches square. I quilted it with a variegated thread.
I used my go-to freestyle angular stipple pattern in the middle. I don't have a free-motion foot. I just use my regular presser foot.
Here it is on the wall. Hope everyone has great week.

How cheerful! I'm glad you decided to hang it....a pillow can get lost in the shuffle and if it's on the wall you can smile every time you pass by.
Oh that looks so cheery on your wall--perfect place for it with everyone passing by...looks good enough to eat!! Julierose
What a beautiful wallhanging and I love the selvage heart!!
Very seasonal and much more likely to last a few years as a wallhanging!
I love it!
Looks great on the wall!
