Quispamsis qplex Mini Quilt

The pictures tell most of the story.  The building in these shots is a beautiful new facility that was opened in our town last year.  It is called the qplex.  From the very first time I saw the stripes I was completely enamoured and knew I would have to make a quilt!
This is just a little mini quilt.  And I actually have had it done for a while.  I made it for my son's 7th birthday which was more than a month ago.

For the design, you can see I was 100% inspired by the building.  Love the colour and the modern look!
Since this quilt is just a wee thing, we had some fun throwing it around to take a few pics.
This photo is kind of cool.
But for every half-decent photo, there are a ton of bloopers like the one here.  That is the back of the quilt and there are Tess and Eli racing through the shot.
So that's that.  It was fun and fast to make this quilt.  It was an idea I had to get out of my head, but I really had no reason to make a quilt bigger than this.

I saw the Qplex when I visited my son who lives there. I commented on the colors as they are my favorites. It's a pretty little wall hanging.
