Teaser Tuesday: What I'm Working On ...

At the far end of the table you see my laptop and two notebooks.  That's what I'm mostly working on, slowly plodding away on the new novel.  But I have a feeling that what is on the rest of the table is more interesting to my quilty friends.  Those are the "Selvage Countdown" blocks I started last year.  I now have 80 finished 3.5 inch blocks ...
...and I have started sewing them into a mini quilt.

Good luck with both endeavors! I enjoy seeing the creative spaces of others! I do most of my drawing on a tv tray next to the wood stove, and most of my fabric cutting on the floor! I daydream of having a big space where I can leave everything out!

Looks like the makings of a good jigsaw design... Could you imagine trying to piece that as a puzzle? LOL

hey, what a neat idea! i've seen people use selvages before but these blocks look super cool and interesting. good luck on the novel!

also, I see you have word verification enabled... might you consider turning it off? Email me if you want to but aren't sure how. It'll make it easier for people to comment!

now there is an idea for my selvedges... I have been saving them for a couple years now, except they are rolled in a ball, the ball is somewhere between a softballsize and a basketball size... Maybe I am collecting them just to see how big of a ball I can collect!

Sneak peeks, huh? Love the developing mini! Random polka dottedness!
What is the subject of your new novel?
Hugs!

How neat to see two of your passions on the table! I love the countdown blocks. Those are going to be great.

Riel... did you say you sew your selvedges together with no stabilizer. how do you do that?
and I agree with Krista who said maybe disable the robot thingy. I can't make out the letters in this one at all. I know it will give me a second chance but annoying !!
