Halloween Signs

So, last post I showed my final Halloween sewing finish for this year, but there are other non-fabric Halloween things around our place too.  I made these 2 signs last year.  We live on a corner and it is the elementary school bus stop, so, being the Halloween-lover I am, of course the idea for this "Ghoul Bus Stop" popped in my head.  It was so cute how the kids were happy to see it again this year.
And I know that not everyone likes crows, but I do.  They are smart, smart birds.  We have a lot of crows in our neighbourhood and a couple will often sit on the power lines right above where I placed this sign.

Happy Weekend!  For anyone near me, if you're interested, I am reading from The Town That Drowned tomorrow, October 22, at Benjamin's Books in Rothesay.  1:00 pm.  I'm really looking forward to it!

You are right about crows being smart. We watched a documentary on the research going on about them and they are as smart as we are (or aren't)! Love your signs.

We honeymooned in the Maritimes in October and we marveled at how "big" Hallowe'en was! Painted hay bales, major Hallowe'en displays the likes of which we had never, ever seen. These photos totally take me back.
